In collaboration with Nea International we optimised the Push ortho Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO). The goal of this project was to find the right balance between stiffness in one direction and flexibility in the other direction.

Virtual development in collaboration with physical therapist! Shorter development time, reduced prototypes and a lightweight and comfortable design. 

The right stiffness and flexibility was guaranteed by selecting the right fiber filled thermoplastic, optimizing material thickness and changing the injection location to get better control over the fiber orientation.
